At St Albans Endoscopy Centre, our mission is to improve the health and quality of life for all of our patients by providing a professional, high quality, accessible and affordable endoscopy and gastroenterology service with a positive patient experience.
Our focus is on your digestive health and we are committed to offering all patients quality investigative procedures and specialist consultations to assist in the early detection of conditions such as Bowel Cancer, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Colitis and Reflux.
The centre is a registered Day Procedure Centre with the Department of Health and is fully accredited with NSQHS standards. In addition to this, our warm and friendly team consists of highly qualified, professional gastroenterologists, anaesthetists, nurses, technicians and administrative staff offering the best in both expertise and positive patient care.

St Albans Endoscopy Centre sends SMS appointment reminders at least 48 hours prior to any appointment. When you receive this message, please call the centre to confirm your appointment.
Please contact us at least 48 hours prior to your appointment if you wish to cancel. An alternative time can be arranged when calling. Calling ahead to cancel allows us to offer your time to another patient. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, or do not show for your appointment, then you may be charged a cancellation fee.
All patients who attend for a procedure, will receive a coloured copy of the report to take home with them. A copy of this report will also get faxed to the referring doctor on the day, and any biopsy results will get sent to the referring doctor electronically as soon as it becomes available. As biopsy results can take a few days, it is recommended that patients wait at least a week following their procedure before making an appointment to see their GP.
At St Albans Endoscopy Centre, endoscopic procedures will incur a small Hospital Fee that will need to be paid and is not covered by Medicare. When you make an appointment, the reception staff will inform you about the expected fees and charges.
Payments are to be paid in full on the day of the procedure and be can be made at the centre via cash, EFTPOS, Mastercard or Visa.
